About The Position

The candidate is responsible for inventory, stocking and issuing parts and supplies and/or purchasing assigned or designated parts and services from an approved list of vendors. Work is reviewed periodically to assure compliance with the department's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School or GED - Required
• 1 year or more in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, machine maintenance repair
• Basic math - Intermediate
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Beginner
• Ability to learn using specialized software (MP2)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and distributing parts to mechanics
• Log parts into inventory system
• Parts pricing
• Parts numbers
• Due dates to reduce down time
• Maintain inventory on parts
• Monitor delivery receipts from vendors against the received parts
• Bulk relieving parts from inventory
• Control inventory, returning obsolete, overstock, wrong parts delivered
• Generate work orders from work requests and ensure that the work orders are closed on a timely basis
• File all related cGMP documents in their assigned areas, i.e. work orders
• Process purchase order requisitions with negotiated quotes from vendors
• Work with vendors for timely deliveries, back orders and rejected items
