About The Position

The Parts & Accessories Sales Operations & Communications Lead will be responsible for creating, executing, managing, and monitoring sales and promotional programs for dealers and consumers to maximize profits. This role involves managing existing stocking and loyalty programs, developing new wholesale and retail programs, and overseeing in-store merchandising, packaging, branding, and product training. Additionally, the lead will manage kitting projects, establish company margins, analyze sales history, provide sales forecasts, and create analytics to review program performance and suggest enhancements. The position also serves as the lead coordinator for business development projects, including dealer merchandising, product training proposals, product category refreshes, data syndication, commercial/fleet drop-ship terms, and call center/sales force management software implementation. The role requires effective communication as a liaison with internal and external customers, dealers, and vendors. The lead will also identify new marketing opportunities, interface with Vehicle Sales and Marketing Groups, establish social and digital marketing initiatives, and maximize the P&A presence at key events. Management of P&A bulletins and program announcements is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a business related major required
  • Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong data gathering and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully prioritize and organize multiple, competing tasks.
  • Extremely detail and deadline oriented.
  • Brings positive energy and enthusiasm to group or team efforts.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in power sports, automotive, corporate sales and/or marketing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, manage and monitor P&A Division’s sales and promotional programs for dealers and consumers to maximize profits through sales strategies
  • Managing updating and monitoring all existing seasonal stocking programs as well as the K-Loyalty Program
  • Develop, execute, implement and manage new additional wholesale and retail programs on an ongoing basis to increase dealer and consumer sales
  • Oversee in-store merchandising and promotional material
  • Manage packaging and branding
  • Conduct dealer and retail based product training
  • Create, execute and manage all Parts & Accessories kitting projects including accessory packages, oil change kits and winch kits
  • Establish company margins and profits to achieve sales goals
  • Analyze sales history and provide sales forecast by part number / model
  • Create analytics to review program performance, provide reporting and provide suggestions for future enhancements
  • Build analytical data needed to measure program success
  • Compile and distribute financial and statistical information to report results to management
  • Conduct research and analyze competitive data
  • Serve as lead coordinator for P&A Division business development projects and programs including dealer merchandising and product training proposals, continual product categories refresh & re-launch, data syndication of Parts & Accessories product attributes, develop and manage Commercial/Fleet dealer drop-ship terms, conditions and web/intranet interfaces, and call center and sales force management software implementation
  • Communicate effectively as a liaison with internal and external customers/dealers/vendors regarding current and future initiatives and distribution details
  • Create new marketing opportunities for the Parts & Accessories division including interfacing with the Vehicle Sales and Marketing Groups, establishing P&A specific social and digital marketing initiatives, and maximizing the P&A presence at key consumer and dealer events
  • Manage all P&A bulletins and program announcements (create, develop, route, proofread and post)
  • Undertake additional projects as determined on an ongoing basis
