About The Position

The School of Conservation Futures is seeking a Partnership Manager to support the development, coordination, and ongoing management of a diverse portfolio of strategic partnerships. Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, this role will play a key operational and relationship management function in advancing partnerships that support student opportunities, academic programming, and the broader mission of the school. Under general direction, the Partnership Manager will track and manage partnerships across multiple categories, maintain partner relationships, identify opportunities for deeper engagement, and take part in leading outreach. This role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including leadership, career services, faculty, and external partners across nonprofit, government, and private sectors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and excited to work at the intersection of conservation, education, and workforce development in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Strong relationship management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and analyze partnership data.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity and knowledge of the Conservation sector is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in higher education, conservation, sustainability, or related sectors.
  • Experience managing or supporting partnerships with external organizations.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot for tracking relationships and activities.
  • Experience working with diverse organization types including nonprofits, government agencies, and corporations.
  • Experience supporting student-facing or workforce development initiatives.
  • Evidence of strategic thinking and ability to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive partnership pipeline, tracking prospective and active partners, engagement levels, and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of partnership activities, communications, and outcomes.
  • Track and report on partnership metrics and progress toward strategic goals.
  • Support the development and maintenance of relationships with local and global partners.
  • Serve as a point of contact ensuring consistent communication and stewardship.
  • Coordinate partner engagement activities such as meetings and events, including managing events at SCF and representing SCF at other venues.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying potential partners.
  • Support partner onboarding processes including coordination of agreements (e.g., MOUs).
  • Collaborate with leadership to expand partnerships.
  • Connect partnerships to student opportunities such as internships, practicums, and workforce pathways.
  • Align partnerships with academic programs and workforce initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on partnership activity.
  • Support planning and execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
