About The Position

Gameplan is seeking two highly motivated and coachable Partnership Managers / Account Executives to join their sales team. This role is for individuals who are passionate about excelling in sales, building genuine partnerships with schools and districts, and contributing to a company with significant growth aspirations. The core of the sales approach at Gameplan involves understanding the unique needs, goals, and challenges of educational institutions to determine if Gameplan's platform can provide effective solutions. Gameplan's platform is designed to help schools and districts leverage student interest in gaming, digital culture, game design, cybersecurity, media, and technology to create career-connected learning pathways. The platform aims to engage students, develop real-world skills, and establish programs linked to future careers. The ideal candidates will be hardworking, receptive to coaching, adept at following a proven sales process, and committed to continuous weekly improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Sales experience, preferably B2B, education, SaaS, EdTech, or consultative sales
  • Ability to work with US time zones
  • Comfortable speaking with school and district leaders
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to be held accountable
  • Ability to learn and follow a sales playbook
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and sales technology
  • A desire to grow fast

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to schools, districts, or public sector buyers
  • Experience in EdTech, workforce development, CTE, curriculum, SaaS, or technology
  • Experience managing a pipeline from discovery to close
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Understanding of US K-12 education

Responsibilities

  • Work with school and district leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities.
  • Help school and district leaders see how Gameplan can support their students, teachers, and programs.
  • Own opportunities from discovery through close.
  • Run sales meetings.
  • Ask strong questions to understand district needs.
  • Present Gameplan clearly.
  • Create urgency.
  • Handle objections.
  • Move deals forward.
  • Manage pipeline in HubSpot.
  • Follow up consistently and professionally.
  • Create proposals and quotes.
  • Work with leadership to improve sales skills weekly.
  • Collaborate with BDRs, marketing, customer success, and leadership.
  • Take ownership of your number and your development.
