About The Position

Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Mt. Laurel Office in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Partner to join their growing team.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
Admitted to practice law in New Jersey state court required.
Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
Travel to court will be required if assigned to a venue mandating in-person hearings.

Nice To Haves

5 years of Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
Experience and familiarity with New Jersey State Rules of Court, New Jersey Federal Rules of Court, Rules of Evidence preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
Represent clients in court hearings.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
Maintain billable hours as necessary.
Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, and trial when and where necessary.
