Partner Marketing Manager

Spot AISan Francisco, CA
$140,000 - $155,000Onsite

About The Position

Spot AI is seeking a Partner Marketing Manager to build the engine that scales their business. This role is central to Spot AI's go-to-market strategy, which is now 100% channel fulfilled. The Partner Marketing Manager will work closely with the partnerships team to equip channel and technology partners with the necessary resources to identify, engage, and close customers. This high-impact role involves owning the narrative that extends through the ecosystem, developing programs to generate partner-sourced pipeline, and providing enablement to transform partners into confident sellers of a new category. The position requires onsite presence in the San Francisco office 3-5 days per week, with relocation assistance available for those not currently in SF. The company is not currently able to support sponsorship for this role and is not working with agencies.

Requirements

  • Experience owning partner marketing, channel marketing, or ecosystem GTM with demonstrable examples of built programs and generated pipeline.
  • Understanding of both channel (VAR/reseller) and technology partner motions, with the ability to articulate differentiated approaches.
  • Experience in B2B marketing at a startup or growth-stage company where playbooks were still being developed.
  • Ability to write effectively for partners and their end customers, not just internal audiences.
  • Ability to think in terms of joint value propositions and shared ICPs, beyond just product features.
  • Comfort with building from scratch and problem-solving without a clear formula.
  • Experience using AI to meaningfully accelerate personal work (research, content, enablement generation).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup or category-defining company where the partner marketing function was built from the ground up.
  • Experience in or marketing to industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, or construction.
  • Experience with both channel and technology partner ecosystems simultaneously.
  • A driven, hungry builder motivated by generating pipeline over managing a content calendar.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Spot AI's story within the partner ecosystem, adapting core messaging for various partner types (channel partners, VARs, strategic technology partners) while maintaining consistency.
  • Build and maintain partner-specific value propositions and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) guidance for manufacturing, retail, logistics, and construction industries.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messages for partners to use in opening doors and closing deals.
  • Act as the narrative owner for the ecosystem, ensuring a consistent and credible story is told by all partners.
  • Create content, tools, and playbooks to empower partners to independently bring in ICP deals.
  • Develop use cases, case studies, and proof points tailored to partner audiences and their end customers.
  • Design scaled enablement kits suitable for a range of partner types and maturity levels.
  • Partner directly with sales and channel managers to refine messaging, improve win rates, and accelerate partner-sourced deals.
  • Help define and own the category of AI coworkers for the physical world, extending this narrative into the partner channel.
  • Build positioning that differentiates Spot AI and gives partners a compelling reason to lead with the company.
  • Develop thought leadership content and co-marketing assets to capture attention and build credibility with partner audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure alignment between the roadmap, the story, and the partner narrative.
  • Own partner-sourced pipeline with clear accountability for outcomes.
  • Design and execute co-marketing programs with channel and technology partners to generate net-new opportunities.
  • Build joint Go-To-Market (GTM) motions with key partners, including co-branded campaigns, field events, and account-based programs targeting shared ICPs.
  • Create feedback loops with the partner team and sales to identify effective strategies and areas for investment.
  • Run rapid experiments across partner programs, messaging, and co-marketing formats.
  • Utilize data, partner feedback, and sales input for quick learning and focused investment.
  • Integrate AI into workflows to increase speed, generate insights, and improve output quality.
