Box is building a major strategic partnership with AWS to accelerate how we take Box to market through AWS Marketplace and joint go-to-market programs. We are hiring a Partner Marketing Manager for AWS to own and execute the marketing motions that support this partnership—co-marketing, seller enablement, Marketplace GTM, and funded campaigns. You will work closely with the AWS sales lead, partnership GM, field marketing, and AWS counterparts to turn joint plans into real pipeline. Partner Marketing at Box is focused on communicating the company’s strategies to, through and with partners. You will match your expertise of the partner ecosystem with a clear understanding of Box’s business objectives to equip Box partners with marketing resources and tools to drive leads and pipeline and grow their business. This role requires cross-team and organizational collaboration, innovation, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a passion for driving demand through partners. A successful candidate will be highly-motivated and self-directed with expertise in juggling multiple assignments and working across cross functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience with 2+ years of partner marketing experience
  • Experience marketing enterprise software with system integrators, technology partners and resellers
  • Event strategy and execution experience with partners
  • Demand gen experience managing programs connected to lead creation
  • Content creation skills – ability to transform stories into marketing collateral
  • The mentality of a builder and a learner — figuring out how to achieve results and establish best practices
  • Ability to operate both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity, bringing creativity and inventive problem solving to your work
  • Proven collaborative experience, driving consensus across diverse teams in multiple departments and functions
  • Excellent communication skills, ranging from the ability to craft brief, high-impact written communications, to presenting to senior executives inside and outside our company

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing with or for AWS (inside AWS or at an AWS partner).
  • Familiarity with AWS Marketplace or cloud GTM motions.
  • Experience managing MDF or partner-funded campaigns.
  • Strong writing and messaging skills for technical and sales audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the AWS joint marketing plan
  • Act as the connective tissue between partner marketing, field marketing, sales, alliances, and ops.
  • Own day-to-day execution of the AWS joint marketing plan aligned to sales priorities and target segments.
  • Translate GTM strategy into campaigns, programs, and assets that drive pipeline and deal acceleration.
  • Maintain a simple quarterly plan that aligns campaigns to sales plays and funding.
  • Partner with the sales lead and alliance team to identify, secure, and deploy AWS marketing funds (e.g., MDF).
  • Manage execution end-to-end: planning, timelines, vendors, spend tracking, and ROI reporting.
  • Ensure every funded program is tied to a clear pipeline or deal objective.
  • Build and maintain Marketplace GTM assets: messaging, positioning, seller-facing materials, and campaign support.
  • Support Marketplace launches, private-offer readiness, and sales enablement with relevant content and proof points.
  • Help ensure Marketplace is a visible, supported motion in joint campaigns.
  • Create simple, field-ready assets that sellers actually use:

  • email templates
  • talk tracks
  • win stories
  • Partner with sales enablement to distribute and reinforce these assets.
