About The Position

We are seeking a mission-driven Partner Marketing Administrator to build awareness of health plans that offer the support of DaVita’s value-based care program through direct, local engagement with kidney care patients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on face-to-face interaction, understands the value of personalized healthcare, and the impact of patient choice in health coverage. You will spend time in dialysis clinics, engage with eligible patients and caregivers, and build trust that leads to informed health insurance decisions. You’ll also work closely with care teams and local leadership to understand how the care management program works alongside strong health plan benefits to support this patient community. (Note: You must possess or be willing to obtain the required licensure to educate on health plans in the state of California, called the Life and Health Insurance License. If you are selected for the role but do not possess the required licensure, DaVita will reimburse the cost of obtaining the licensure.)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Health and Life Insurance License from the state of California required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in healthcare marketing, insurance sales, grassroots outreach, or community engagement preferred.
  • Proven relationship-builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role, with strong personal organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Must reside near the Los Angeles or Orange County areas and possess a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation—a majority of time will be spent inside dialysis clinics or traveling locally.
  • Bilingual / Spanish-speaking is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the value-based care program’s affiliated health plans within dialysis clinics and the surrounding community to raise awareness, build trust, and support informed patient coverage decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with in-clinic staff—facility administrators, social workers, and administrative assistants—to facilitate coordinated, compliant marketing efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the plan’s benefits, eligibility criteria, and the role of care management in driving better health outcomes for members.
  • Partner with assigned brokers to support enrollment of interested patients.
  • Communicate plan and program information in a clear, ethical, and compliant manner—ensuring CMS marketing guidelines and internal compliance guardrails are followed.
  • Identify barriers to engagement and provide insights that improve our local marketing approach.
  • Track engagement and field activity metrics to support performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Potential to represent the plan at community events or engage existing members for retention activities.
  • Travel to clinic locations at least four days per week to speak with kidney care patients, caregivers, and clinic staff.
  • Occasional option to work Saturdays and evening events, if desired.
