About The Position

The Partner Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing data related to Partner Banking lending, loan purchase and sale activities. This role will report to the Partner Credit Manager and work closely with internal stakeholders, including Credit Admin, Accounting, Servicing Oversight, IT, Partner Managers and Head of Partnerships. Additionally, this role will interface with prospective or existing loan purchase or sale counterparties, managing evaluation and transaction materials related to loan purchases and sales. This position is located in our downtown Seattle office and requires full-time, in-person work.

Requirements

  • Due to the collaborative nature of this position, it requires daily in-person work. After a 90-day training period, this position allows for one day of work from home each week. No exceptions will be granted.
  • Knowledge of business, economics and/or finance acquired through education and experience
  • Strong analytical skills, data visualization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SQL and other coding languages.
  • 1-2 years of finance experience; in capital markets, investment banking, structured credit or other relevant areas
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, math, statistics, business administration, or related field, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point-of-contact for the analysis and evaluation of performance of loans the Bank may purchase or sell.
  • Accurately communicate performance data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own the analysis of loan portfolio activity. Create, manage, and distribute loan portfolio communications artifacts like dashboards, spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues as required.
  • Conduct research on new products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support bank loan growth efforts.
  • Assists stakeholders with documenting goals, risks, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
  • Work with IT on data reporting and serve as a bridge between IT and business unit teams.
  • Support loan Processing, Credit Admin or other teams as needed to meet business demand or support ad hoc projects.
  • Other duties as assigned
