UZURV is a 200+, growing technology company based in Richmond, VA. The company operates in 16 states and is expanding nationally. As an Adaptive Transportation Network Company, the UZURV mobility platform serves individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and others who need assistance with independent transportation. UZURV’s platform combines rideshare with specialty credentialed, drug and alcohol tested drivers to provide safe, reliable mobility and a higher level of care for the transportation disadvantaged. It’s a technology platform and service that helps people who need assistance get where they need to go. The Vendor and Partner Manager is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing relationships with external vendors and strategic partners to ensure high performance, value delivery, and alignment with company objectives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned partners and drives collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical vendors or platform partners, including contract negotiation, performance management, and integration coordination
  • Strong ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders, with clear communication, structured problem solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on experience guiding partners through technical integrations, including API-based workflows and platform onboarding
  • Independent & Adaptable: Self-starter who can manage shifting priorities and operate with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our vendors and partners, building trusted, high-impact relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Own the full vendor lifecycle from selection and onboarding through ongoing performance and long-term growth, identifying risks early and driving timely resolution.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across Operations, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure partner activities are aligned with business goals.
  • Support partners through technical integration, including hands-on guidance with API implementations.
  • Contribute to partner strategy, roadmap planning, and the evolution of our partner ecosystem.
  • Periodic travel to industry events is part of the role.
