Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends (based on shift choice).
• A background check is required, post-job offer.
• A compassionate, professional demeanor and a calm head under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills (you know how to make people feel heard).
• An understanding of housing safety concerns.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident activities, de-escalate behavioral issues, and keep the environment safe, clean, and secure through light housekeeping and maintenance.
• Welcome new residents, assign beds, explain program rules, monitor supplies, and maintain accurate daily logs/incident reports.
• Provide vital "awake" shift coverage and maintain strict grounds security to protect residents and your fellow teammates.
• Contribute direct feedback on shelter policies to help us continuously improve our services for the community.
