About The Position

Vivvi is a unique preschool that is reinventing child care and early learning. They are looking for educators to join the founding team at a new 24-hour child care center on Toyota's campus in Liberty, NC. This role will help build a quality program for children while supporting the professional growth of educators.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working with young learners, and see every child as infinitely capable
  • Believe every family deserves access to world-class child care that meets their needs.
  • Have 1-2+ years of experience working in a licensed child care center capacity
  • Have 2+ years of experience working with children aged 0-5 within a licensed child care center, including expertise in creating original lesson plans, leading parent-teacher conferences, and effectively liaising with families about children’s development and milestones.
  • Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
  • Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
  • Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, N.C.
  • Must possess independent US work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • Hold a NC Child Development Credentials I and II, Associates Degree in ECE or Child Development

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
  • Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
  • Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
  • Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
  • Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
  • Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol
