About The Position

Vivvi is a unique preschool that is reinventing child care and early learning. They are looking for educators to join the founding team at a new 24-hour child care center on Toyota's campus in Liberty, NC. This role will help build a quality program for children while supporting the professional growth of educators.

Requirements

Enjoy working with young learners, and see every child as infinitely capable
Believe every family deserves access to world-class child care that meets their needs.
Have 1-2+ years of experience working in a licensed child care center capacity
Have 2+ years of experience working with children aged 0-5 within a licensed child care center, including expertise in creating original lesson plans, leading parent-teacher conferences, and effectively liaising with families about children’s development and milestones.
Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, N.C.
Must possess independent US work authorization

Nice To Haves

Hold a NC Child Development Credentials I and II, Associates Degree in ECE or Child Development

Responsibilities

Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol
