About The Position

Warehouse/Driver associates at Famous Supply are responsible for Warehouse and Driving Duties. Warehouse tasks include unloading trucks, receiving material, put-away of material, picking customer orders, staging customer orders for delivery, and loading customer delivery trucks. Non-CDL Drivers make deliveries to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Drivers use a company-provided Smartphone for navigation and are responsible for assisting with truck loading and reviewing orders for accuracy. Driver associates also assist in the warehouse when needed. Famous Supply Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers. Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor committed to serving contractors, builders and remodelers in the HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF segments. Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to drive large vehicles
• Acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience
• Customer service experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Experience using RF Scanners

Responsibilities

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
• Help load truck
• Use Smartphone to navigate to stops on-time
• Unload materials for customer
• Verify delivery for accuracy
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
