About The Position

Endless Commerce is seeking a part-time Content Creation Associate to join their team in San Clemente. This role involves hands-on work in shooting and editing content for Samantha Rose, the CEO and host of the 'Commerce is Chaos' podcast. The content will be used across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. The associate will edit short-form clips from podcast episodes, shoot IRL footage and B-roll of Samantha, and help build a library of vertical video content. This position supports the content team in maintaining a weekly social media cadence. The role requires someone studying film, communications, marketing, media, or a related field, or someone with equivalent self-taught editing skills. The ideal candidate is deadline-oriented, can adhere to a content calendar, and has opinions about pacing. Proximity to San Clemente for weekly on-site hours is necessary, with the remainder of the work being remote. This is a part-time role, approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Studying film, communications, marketing, media, or a related field, OR equivalent editing skills.
• Proficiency with editing tools.
• Opinions about pacing and an understanding of video editing.
• Deadline-oriented and able to adhere to a content calendar.
• Within driving distance of San Clemente for weekly on-site hours.
• Able to commit to weekly on-site hours.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form clips from Commerce is Chaos podcast episodes for LinkedIn and social media, focusing on punchy, well-paced content.
• Shoot IRL footage and B-roll of Samantha at and around the office for use across various platforms.
• Help build out a library of vertical video content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video.
• Support the content team in executing a weekly social media cadence.
