About The Position

UrgentVet is seeking a part-time Veterinarian for their Peachtree City, GA location. This position is ideal for new graduates or experienced veterinarians looking to join a growing company that offers a fresh approach to after-hours care. UrgentVet fills the gap between general practice and emergency/overnight care by providing after-hours services for canine and feline patients at a lower cost than emergency clinics. The role involves managing common urgent cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. The clinics are paperless, equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment, and designed for efficient care.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)

Responsibilities

• Support the development of staff members through support of the Company’s LevelUp clinical training program
• Promote the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience
• Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted timeframes
