Part-time Travel Medical Assistant - Optometry Technician

This specific position involves traveling to facilities to support optometry services, including setting up the clinic, transporting patients, and assisting the doctor with pretesting, eyeglass management, and scribing.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive to clinics that are typically within a 3-hour radius. This position covers the Phoenix and Tucson areas.
- Ability to escort elderly walking clients or transport clients in wheelchairs, typically weighing up to 200 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Optometry/Ophthalmic technician experience preferred but not mandatory
- Prior EMR documentation experience strongly preferred 1+ years (medications, ICD-10, preliminary findings, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the clinic before the doctor to setup at the facility.
- Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
- Assist the doctor with vision pretesting, working with eyeglasses and scribing as needed.
