About The Position

WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Idaho Falls Idaho area. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. This role is ideal for students, second-job seekers, or anyone looking to earn extra income around an existing schedule. The job offers short, consistent evening shifts with no weekends required, allowing for a good work-life balance. Porters work independently on a predictable route, collecting bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors and transporting it to the designated onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. Responsibilities include separating recycling, checking for contamination, cleaning up common areas, and occasionally assisting with pet waste station servicing. Check-in and check-out are managed through a mobile app, where route documentation, photo uploads, and courtesy notices are handled.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Valid Idaho driver's license.
Valid auto insurance.
Smartphone with an active data plan and location services.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations).

Responsibilities

Walk assigned apartment community each evening to collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors.
Transport collected items to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor.
Separate recycling and check for contamination.
Clean up any loose trash around common areas.
Document route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices via a mobile app.
Assist with pet waste station servicing on occasion.
