About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The Team Member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and help them find what they're looking for. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards, engaging customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. The Team Member must adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and execute Company policies and standards.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Execute Company policies and standards.
