About The Position
GradePower Learning Homeschool Day Academy in Lakeland is seeking passionate and energetic instructors for a part-time teaching position. This role supports students in grades K-12 within a homeschool support program. The academy utilizes a hands-on, customized approach where students work at their own pace with personalized programs. Parent communication is handled by coordinators, and the role involves limited planning and no grading due to a proprietary curriculum. This is an in-person position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or FLVS experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teaching up to 6 students at a time at different levels
- Following the GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post-lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
