About The Position
Beyond Yoga, a premium active lifestyle brand headquartered in Los Angeles and founded in 2005, is seeking a Part Time Supervisor. The brand is known for its luxuriously soft fabrics and body-positive approach to activewear. Since September 2021, Beyond Yoga has been part of Levi Strauss & Co., benefiting from its global capabilities. The Part Time Supervisor will be accountable to the store manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as a manager on duty, and supporting the resolution of customer concerns. This role involves efficiently managing cash handling and merchandise operations, including shipment processing, floor sets, markdowns, and replenishment systems while maintaining standards. The supervisor will also support the onboarding of new hires, assess and strategize to drive performance goals (KPIs), and create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling service leadership. A key aspect of the role is being a brand ambassador embodying and cultivating the company's core values.
Requirements

- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, talk and hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to type, reach overhead, and climb ladders.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Driving process adoption, opening, and closing the store as a manager on duty.
- Supporting resolution of customer concerns with a positive outcome.
- Efficiently managing all cash handling and merchandise operations such as shipment processing, floor set, markdown, and replenishment systems while maintaining standards.
- Supervising and providing consistent coaching on selling culture and customer connection to ensure the highest level of service and sales.
- Supervising the store team in the absence of another member of management.
- Assessing and strategizing how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s).
- Supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
- Building relationships and fostering a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborating with the store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community by way of events, driving brand awareness and engagement.
- Creating a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling the way as a visible service leader.
- Being a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values.
