About The Position

Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Supervisor to oversee dining facility operations at Yorktown, VA. The Supervisor will provide leadership to dining staff, ensure compliance with food service and sanitation standards, and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on customer service.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in food service, dining facilities, or related field required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet site security requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and DFAC (Dining Facility) operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of dining facility attendants and kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, military dining facility standards, and sanitation regulations.
• Train, mentor, and coach employees to improve performance and productivity.
• Monitor staffing schedules, attendance, and adherence to shift requirements.
• Maintain quality control of food service, presentation, and portioning.
• Resolve staff or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and supply control.
• Collaborate with management to meet headcount and service requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the dining facility.
