About The Position
The College of Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Entomology is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Summer Research Assistant in the Deans Lab. This role will assist in the identification and digitization of firefly specimens (family Lampyridae). The primary focus will be on transcribing text from images of labels or from direct observation of labels and parsing data into appropriate fields. Some labels will require georeferencing (i.e., estimating latitude and longitude for a locality).
