About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and flexible Part-Time Substitute to join our daycare team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can step in to support classrooms as needed in a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to be flexible and work in any classroom as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience working with young children preferred
Responsibilities
- Support full-time staff in all classroom duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing manner
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining an organized classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with all New York State Daycare Regulations
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher, Director, and team members
- Help foster an atmosphere of goodwill, open communication, and teamwork
