As a Part-Time Student Quality Engineering for JD Waterloo Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

Requirements

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university
  • Graduation date of May 2027 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/week
  • Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/week
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Analytical mindset and initiative to propose and support quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Quality Engineering team by creating and managing quality issues and deviations
  • Maintain and improve SharePoint sites
  • Support New Product build events on the factory floor as well as other quality activities
  • Assist in automating and improving quality processes and tasks
  • Perform activities according to project plans and schedule
