As a Part-Time Student Quality Engineering for JD Waterloo Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

Requirements

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university
Graduation date of May 2027 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/week
Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/week
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Analytical mindset and initiative to propose and support quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Support New Product Quality Engineering team by creating and managing quality issues and deviations
Maintain and improve SharePoint sites
Support New Product build events on the factory floor as well as other quality activities
Assist in automating and improving quality processes and tasks
Perform activities according to project plans and schedule
