As a Part-Time Student-Inventory Analyst for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

Requirements

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Accounting; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
  • Graduation date of spring 2028 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round.
  • This position NOT available to students on immigration visas
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory/financial reports, statements, or exhibits
  • Coordinate and analyze daily, monthly and/or annual inventory audits, or audits to test financial accuracy
  • Enter data into appropriate spreadsheets and databases, and prepare reports as directed
  • Use Data Analytics and shopfloor investigation to identify root cause for inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory accuracy
