Part-Time Small Building Manager (must live on-site)
About The Position

The company is seeking a responsible, dedicated, and enthusiastic Part-Time Site Manager to lease and maintain a 24-unit property in Young America, MN. Living on-site is required, and a free 3 Bedroom Apartment is provided in exchange for duties. This is a flexible part-time position.
Requirements
- At least 1 year office and/or administrative experience or similar
- Customer Service experience is required
- Strong work ethic and desire to assist our residents in finding their home with us and maintaining a great place to live
- Detail orientation and attention to accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office.
Nice To Haves
- prior leasing experience is a plus
- Yardi software experience preferred
- Affordable housing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties, including recertification paperwork.
- Showing and leasing available apartments
- Coordinate the move-in/move-out process
- Manage overall cleanliness of the property, including regular cleaning of the common areas
- Apartment turnover cleaning
- Seasonal grounds keeping, including shoveling under 1 inch
- Light maintenance of the building; for example, changing lightbulbs and assisting our Maintenance Technicians during emergencies
- Work with vendors and the internal maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance
- Facilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as required
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all residents, applicants, vendors and staff.
- Take a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to accomplish objectives
- Communicate with residents in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines
