About The Position

Student Access and Accommodation Services utilizes part-time sign language interpreters on an as needed basis to provide services for students and at public events.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Licensure with Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission (IDHHC) with an intermediate level or above.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without ISU sponsorship.
  • All work under this appointment is required to be performed from within the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sign language interpretation services for students.
