About The Position

BUTLER AUTOMOTIVE GROUP is seeking a Part Time Receptionist/Greeter for their Sales Department. This role involves receiving callers at the dealership, determining the nature of their business, and directing them accordingly. The position also includes answering basic inquiries, routing incoming calls, taking messages, and providing essential information to all callers. The Receptionist/Greeter will also greet showroom customers, ascertain their needs, direct them to the appropriate department, and notify the relevant personnel of their arrival, introducing them to a salesperson.

Requirements

• Excellent telephone voice, clear diction and use of proper grammar required.

Nice To Haves

• Receptionist or switchboard experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate department or individual, or takes a thorough message.
• Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
• Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduces the customer to a salesperson.
• Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Assists with clerical duties as requested.
• Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Assists service customers during the morning and evening service rush whenever possible.
