About The Position

Reeves Hardware Company is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Receiving & Store Support Associate to assist with daily operations. This position is an all-around support role primarily focused on receiving incoming merchandise and completing all related tasks associated with inventory handling and organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, physically capable, and willing to assist in multiple areas of the business as needed. This is a part-time position consisting of approximately 25 hours per week over a 5-day work period, including certain Saturdays.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb and traverse stairs safely
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and retail environments
• Ability to learn and operate computers, scanners, handheld devices, and POS systems
• Forklift experience preferred, but willingness to learn required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist in multiple areas of the business

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming vendor shipments and verify accuracy of merchandise
• Unload, organize, label, and stock incoming inventory
• Maintain receiving records and complete all associated receiving tasks
• Assemble products and displays as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and work areas
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
• Assist with inventory movement and storage throughout the facility
• Utilize computers, scanners, handheld devices, and inventory systems
• Assist customers on the sales floor when needed
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems during customer assistance periods
• Support overall store operations and complete additional duties as assigned
