About The Position

St. Mary Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and responsible assistant teacher for its part-day preschool program. The role involves working within a joyful school community, with specific hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 3:15 PM, aligning with the school's operational days. The position is part-time and extends until mid-June. The hourly pay begins at $15.

Requirements

• Fingerprinting prior to working with students.
• Background check prior to working with students.
• Completion of Protecting God’s Children training prior to working with students.
• Annual online training required by childcare licensing.

Responsibilities

• Work in a part-day preschool program.
• Work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12:00 PM - 3:15 PM on days when St. Mary Catholic School is in session.
• Maintain a positive Christian attitude.
• Be a positive role model for students.
• Show professionalism and strong ethical behavior.
• Care for students.
