About The Position

As our Part-Time Overnight Concierge, you are the community’s after-hours resource and a dependable presence throughout the night. Working from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., you will support residents, assist visitors, monitor building activity, respond to after-hours concerns, and help prepare the community for the day ahead. This role calls for independence, attentiveness, sound judgment, and clear communication to help maintain a welcoming, secure, and well-prepared environment throughout the night.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in helping people and creating a welcoming resident experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
  • The ability to work independently, remain alert, and respond calmly and professionally during after-hours situations.
  • Comfort using phones, computers, email, security-monitoring equipment, and property or package-management systems.
  • The ability to work the established part-time schedule: Fridays & Saturdays from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • Regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, and communicating with residents and guests for extended periods.
  • Must occasionally be able to handle light packages, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, multifamily property management, or a similar environment is preferred.
  • We are also open to training someone with the right service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm welcome by greeting residents, guests, vendors, and their pets; determine how you can help; and provide assistance, directions, or information as needed.
  • Manage after-hours communication by answering incoming calls professionally and documenting leasing inquiries, resident requests, and other messages for follow-up by the appropriate team member on the next business day.
  • Coordinate mail and packages by receiving, logging, securing, and distributing mail and packages in accordance with community procedures. Deliver packages to residents’ doors when requested and permitted by community practice, and conduct package audits to help maintain accurate records.
  • Support resident needs by assisting with after-hours requests, lockouts, guest parking passes, amenity reservations, and resident concerns in accordance with community policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate service requests and emergencies by accurately documenting maintenance requests, following established emergency and after-hours procedures when immediate action is required, and communicating information clearly to the day team for follow-up.
  • Complete administrative projects by assisting with assigned projects, reports, audits, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks during slower periods of the shift.
  • Monitor the community by conducting routine property walks, confirming designated building access points are closed and secured, observing security cameras, and reporting unusual activity, safety concerns, or maintenance issues according to established procedures.
  • Prepare for the day ahead by completing shift reports, organizing information for the morning team, restocking designated lobby supplies as needed, and helping ensure the community is ready for the next business day.
  • Follow community standards by protecting resident privacy, maintaining professionalism, and following all building access, safety, and emergency-response procedures.
