The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively safeguarding the premises, including, at times, patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, Truck yards and more.

Requirements

Must be OPOTA Certified Armed Flex Security Guard in OH in order to apply.
Must have a Valid Drivers License
Must have personal firearm to carry on the job.
Must be 21+ years of age for Armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles)
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions
Customer service: 1 year (Required)
Armed OPOTA Certified Security License (State of Ohio) (Required)

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
Vigilance: Seeing, hearing, and evaluating
Be aware of potential risks or incidents that may take place on our customers' premises
Safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, Truck yards and more.
