About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic part-time crew members and lube techs to join their growing team. No experience is required as paid training will be provided. This role offers opportunities for advancement, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. The position involves performing oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires with air, and other light maintenance services while providing excellent customer service. The company emphasizes a positive work environment and offers a clear growth path from Pit Tech to President.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• No experience required
• Previous experience as a server, restaurant worker, mechanic, retail employee, landscaper, or other skilled trade worker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
