About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic part-time crew members and lube techs to join their growing team. No experience is required as paid training will be provided. This role offers opportunities for advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers starting as lube techs. The position involves performing light maintenance services such as oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires with air, and other services while the customer remains in their vehicle. The company emphasizes a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and hard work.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Willing to learn
• Work hard
• Bring a positive attitude to the shop

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield
• Adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
