About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic part-time crew members and lube techs to join their growing team. No experience is required as training will be provided for oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacement, tire pressure adjustments, and other light maintenance services. The role emphasizes a willingness to learn, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude. There is a clear growth path with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions, starting from Pit Tech to President. Successful lube technicians can earn up to $15/hr with base pay and commissions. Many team members have transitioned from various service and trade industries.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work hard
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor

• Provide excellent customer service
