About The Position

KDAL-AM, a News/Talk station in Duluth, is looking for a part-time Morning Show Co-Host for their 6:00–10:00 a.m. show. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, love music, be able to carry a conversation, possess a great sense of humor, and know how to connect with listeners.

Requirements

• Engaging, outgoing personality
• Strong communication and conversational skills
• Stays up to date on current news and pop culture
• Ability to think quickly and have fun on-air
• Valid Minnesota driver's license required
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

Nice To Haves

• Previous radio experience is a plus, but personality is paramount

Responsibilities

• Co-host the morning show
• Create fun, timely, and locally relevant content
• Talk music, pop culture, current events, and what’s happening around Duluth
• Engage with listeners on-air and digitally
• Record commercials and promos
• Participate in station events and promotions
