About The Position
A welcoming family in Los Altos is seeking a reliable part-time babysitter for their 4-year-old child starting ASAP. This position assists with morning school drop-off and evening pick-up routines, with the potential for additional evening hours. The schedule includes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, totaling 6 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility for additional evening hours. The family has a smoke-free home environment with no pets, and the child has no special needs or allergies.
Requirements
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver's license and clean driving record for school transport
- Prior experience caring for preschool-aged children
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Morning routine assistance: helping child get dressed and serving breakfast
- Safe transportation (pickup and drop-off) to and from school (located less than 1 mile from home)
- Evening routine assistance and simple meal preparation
