Theatre and Dance - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
About The Position
The Department of Theatre and Dance at CSU Fullerton invites applications for part-time lecturer positions in all areas of theatre and dance. Teaching responsibilities may include instruction in voice, theory, history, and various dance disciplines. Part-time positions at CSUF may be eligible for a benefits package, depending on the assigned credit/unit load each semester. This is a pool of part-time lecturers from which the department will draw as needs arise. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions become available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and are often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants should be prepared to accept assignments on short notice.
Requirements
- A Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre or Dance
- Prior teaching experience at the university level
- Demonstrated ability to teach, engage, and work effectively with a diverse student population, including first-generation college students
