About The Position

The Department of World Languages and Cultures regularly seeks instructors to teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses in Japanese, as well as culture-focused classes taught in English. Appointments are on a per-term basis. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required.
  • Previous teaching experience required.
  • Must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University’s sponsorship for a visa.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. preferred.
