About The Position
The Department of Chemistry at California State University, Stanislaus invites applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching general education lectures, General Chemistry discussion and lab sections, and chemistry service courses for other disciplines as appropriate. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in chemistry is preferred.
- Prior successful teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach general education lectures in chemistry.
- Teach General Chemistry discussion sections.
- Teach General Chemistry lab sections.
- Teach chemistry service courses for other disciplines as appropriate.
