About The Position
A lovely and calm Brentwood household is looking to hire a part-time laundress who can take charge of the immaculate upkeep and maintenance of the family laundry. The schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, about 15-20 hours per week. Time can be flexible! Ideal start date is January but there is flexibility for the perfect fit to start sooner if preferred.
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US.
- No dog allergies and comfortable with a large friendly dog
- Prior knowledge and know-how of couture garment care.
- Excellent communication and team player happy to work in a staffed home. There is an existing housekeeper for deep cleaning plus an assistant and nannies
Responsibilities
- Machine washing and drying
- Hand washing
- Steaming
- Pressing
- Ironing
- Sorting bed linens
- Clothing for dry cleaning
- Keeping inventory of clothing and linens
