About The Position

The Part-Time Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a refrigerated box truck and delivering fresh floral products to customers throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre region and surrounding areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
2+ years of professional driving experience operating commercial vehicles (16-foot box trucks or larger preferred)
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically)
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to effectively use GPS and navigation tools for route management
Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of fresh flowers and floral products to customers within a 125-mile radius of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area
Provide professional and courteous customer service while building positive customer relationships
Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations
