About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while caring for young children

Nice To Haves

CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
Previous experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
90 hour certification in infant & toddlers
Completion of Maryland state-required pre-service training (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Caring for infants with warmth, patience, and responsiveness
Supporting each baby's individual routines, feeding schedules, diapering, and nap times
Creating meaningful learning experiences through our proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum
Encouraging sensory exploration, language development, and early social-emotional skills
Building strong, positive relationships with families through daily communication
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom that exceeds licensing standards
Collaborating with a supportive teaching team to provide exceptional care and education
Observing and documenting developmental milestones and celebrating each child's progress
