About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Tampa South, FL and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, prioritizing professional fulfillment and personal freedom. As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during meaningful moments. You will join a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, mentors, and practice managers providing support. The position emphasizes practicing with purpose while maintaining a balanced and supported life.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
