About The Position

The New School for Social Research at The New School is accepting applications for possible Part-Time Faculty positions. Class times may be evenings and/or weekends.
Requirements
- A terminal degree or equivalent experience in the field of specialty is preferred.
- 2-3 years of teaching experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives, preferably in a College, University, or school setting.
- Ability to work with diverse students and colleagues
- Proven success creating inclusive classrooms
Responsibilities
- Teaching graduate students within a defined field of expertise
- Developing and managing course syllabi and ensuring that syllabi meet Program and School standards
- Planning and creating lectures, discussions, and course assignments
- Assessing student learning outcomes and aiding student success
- Submitting grades in a timely manner

- Hourly Rate: STUDIO HOURLY RATE $135/contact hr
- SEMINAR HOURLY RATE $156/contact hr
