About The Position
The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for one or more part-time (below 0.5 FTE), faculty wage (non-tenure eligible) positions in the Marketing Area for the Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching 1.5–5.5 credit hours per semester, focusing primarily on undergraduate courses in Business Statistics and Quantitative Analysis. Additional teaching in Marketing courses may be assigned based on instructional needs.
Requirements
- A master's degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a closely-related field.
- Relevant industry or educational experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills.
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning.
Nice To Haves
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting.
Responsibilities
