Part-Time Faculty - Respiratory Therapy (Central)
About The Position
Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.
Requirements
- Must have an Associate Degree (or higher level degree) in Respiratory Therapy.
- Must have at least three (3) years’ work experience in Respiratory Therapy.
- Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board to Practice Respiratory Care.
Responsibilities
- Teaching Respiratory Care related course work.
