About The Position

The School of Computing and Engineering at Quinnipiac University seeks highly qualified applicants committed to teaching excellence for part-time faculty positions in Industrial Engineering for the Spring 2026 semester and beyond. The school is experiencing enrollment growth and aims to build a pool of candidates for current and future part-time openings. The School of Computing and Engineering, established in 2016, offers degrees in civil, industrial, mechanical, and software engineering, as well as computer science. It is located in a newly renovated building with modern laboratories and classrooms, focusing on high-quality instruction, hands-on training, applied learning, and strong student-faculty relationships.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Industrial Engineering, including ENR 210 – Engineering Economics and Project Management, which covers economic/finance/costing concepts, decision-making in engineering operations, and project management.
• Teach courses in Industrial Engineering, including IER 250 – Data Analytics, focusing on decision-making techniques, theoretical and modeling aspects, and integrating decision-making into the Systems Decision Process.
• Potentially teach other Industrial Engineering topics such as Human Factors/Ergonomics, Statistical Quality Control, and others for Fall 2026 and beyond.
• Offer instruction in day and early evening on-ground sections, with some flexibility in offering times possible.
