Part-Time Faculty - Emergency Medical Services (North)
About The Position
Teach Emergency Medical Services-related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Faculty may teach using various delivery methods, depending on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College; some assignments may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- At least three years of work experience in Emergency Medical Services.
- Texas certification as an EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, or Paramedic.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in EMS or a related field.
- Experience with teaching and instructional methodology.
