About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA/HHA to support a client with complex care needs through primarily evening shift (4p–8p), with some AM shifts (8a–11a). This part‑time role includes assisting with daily routines, providing safe transfers using a Hoyer lift, repositioning, and potentially supporting colostomy and urostomy care. We’re looking for someone with home health experience who is confident working independently, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centered care. Requirements

A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Nice To Haves

CNA/HHA certification

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
